Green in energy not in color... artificial photosynthesis

Though it looks like it was more of a green real like man-made artifact that would mimic an actual plant organ "Leaf" in photosynthesis. This thin layer of magic-wafers uses the sunlight to create a chemical reaction in water which actually breaks H20 to Hydrogen n Oxygen. The broken down H2 and O2 can be utilized as cleanest sources to produce energy and server for Human energy needs. Lets hope this is practicable viable and installable in every backyard in this decade only....
